Dr. Charles B. Pine (Dentist)

Dr. Pine was born to be a dentist. When asked as a child what he would like to be when he grows up, a dentist was his first and only answer. He graduated from University of Toronto in 1984 and started his own practice in the area of Bloor and Christie Streets. He moved his practice to the present location in 1999 and continues to enjoy servicing the community.  He takes pride in providing all aspects of dental care, from infant first visits to complete cosmetic make overs.  Continuing education programs and clinical updates are a priority for Dr. Pine.  Making people feel comfortable is his passion.

Dr. Pine is an avid ice hockey player, playing winter and summer, adding golf to the days with better weather. Coaching minor hockey has been a passion up until a couple of years ago when patient needs became more demanding. He is married with two young adult children.  He enjoys live theatre, but the shows the Leafs put on are sometimes depressing.  He once was a reviewer of movies for a local FM radio station, and still enjoys watching movies. Like most people, Dr. Pine loves travelling with his wife and family whenever he can.

Rose (Office Manager)

Greetings from Rose.  You may be surprised to know that I have been in the dental field since 1980.  I am proud to have been the Office Manager at Dentistry on Yorkville for over fourteen years. I am extremely dedicated to delivering top quality service to each and every client of our practice.  It is my goal to be an active and assertive team player.
The bottom line is I LOVE what I do and I care about you, and your experience in our office. This is my family on Yorkville.

Ashley (Registered Dental Assistant and Office Administrat)

I have been working in the dental industry for over 7 years. I was a dental assistant for 6 years, before joining the administration team here at Dentistry On Yorkville.  I’m excited and enthusiastic about the turn my career has taken, and am enjoying learning the new skills that this career change has brought me.  When you visit our office I might be the first one you meet at our reception area on one day, or I might be in my scrubs assisting chairside with Dr. Pine the next.

I am originally from Halifax Nova Scotia and lived there up until the summer of 2012 when I moved to Toronto for a taste of what the bit city had to offer. I have fallen in love with this city and quickly made it my home. I consider my work my second home and will go above and beyond to make you and your loved ones feel comfortable, without forgetting professionalism and a friendly smile.

In my spare time you can find me mapping out my next trip/adventure. I’m addicted to travel and meeting new people, from near and far. No vacation is too big or too small for me to enjoy.

Rozy (Dental Hygienist)

Rozy is a member of the Ontario Dental Hygienists Association, Restorative Dental Hygienist Association and the Toronto Central Dental Hygienist Society.  She is goal oriented and fully committed to providing excellent care to all of her clients. She enjoys travelling, reading and being with family and friends. Rozy is also a successful businesswoman outside of dentistry, with her husband and other community members.

Rozy is fluent in English, Kutchi, Gujerati and Hindi.  She strives to always keep a positive attitude and maintains professionalism with our clients and team members alike.

Brooke (Dental Hygienist)

Brooke completed her Dental Hygiene education in 2008 at St. Clair College in Windsor. Soon after graduating, she moved from her hometown of Thamesville, Ontario to Toronto to pursue her career as a Dental Hygienist. She has been with Dentistry on Yorkville since May, 2009.

Brooke is an active member of the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario and the Ontario Dental Hygienists Association. She continues to expand and update her knowledge and skills through continuing education in order to provide quality and comfortable client care.

In her spare time, Brooke enjoys reading, playing sports, and spending time with friends and family. She is often found exploring her new home of Toronto and also enjoys vacationing whenever possible.

I am a graduate of the Dental Assisting program from Seneca College in 1979.  I have worked as an assistant for a periodontist (gum specialist) as well as working at the University of Toronto with dental students, and a pioneering research project regarding dental implants. In 1985 I assisted Dr. Pine full time as he started his dental practice at Bloor and Christie Streets and moved on to administrative tasks as the practice grew.
